Cinder is a retelling of Cinderella set in futurist New Beijing. I don’t usually read science fiction, but I’m really enjoying this so far. The Cinderella aspects seem to be just the beginning, and I’m fascinated by the way Marissa Meyer has twisted the well-known fairy tale into something brand new.
